I have been deeply inspired by the foundation’s vision and the pursuit of social impact through innovation coming from academia. As an Assistant Professor, with long experience in non-profit board positions and a broad international network in academia and industry, and tech startups, I believe that I can contribute significantly to the foundation’s mission and objectives.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have consistently sought opportunities to apply my technical expertise towards driving positive change. Joining the Authentia Foundation would provide the ideal platform to share my insights, and connect with fellow scholars. My experiences in both Greek and Dutch societies have equipped me with a unique perspective. Having studied at Delft University of technology (PhD Materials Science and Engineering) and now working at the University of Twente, and I have had the privilege of experiencing the academic and social environment that bridges the gap between these two cultures. This exposure has fostered in me a deep appreciation for the value of cross-cultural collaboration and the ability to leverage diverse perspectives for collective progress.
As a board member, I am committed to actively help shaping the foundation’s strategy and initiatives, contributing my expertise, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages community building and knowledge exchange. I am excited about the opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals who share a common vision of creating a better future through the power of knowledge.
